Jack Goodrich, Esq

Jack Goodrich serves as President of the Irish Society. Since 1992, he has served as the chairman of the Pittsburgh St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee Fundraising Committee. He has also served as the Parade Committee’s solicitor, and continues to act in an advisory capacity.

Jack is the principal of the law firm Goodrich & Associates in Pittsburgh. He has been recognized as a member of the National Trial Lawyer’s Top 100 Trial Lawyers. In 2008, Irish Voice Magazine recognized him as a Top 100 American Irish Lawyer. The Irish Echo also recognized him as one of the top Irish lawyers in the nation. He holds and has held numerous leadership positions and has been very active within the legal profession at the local, state and national levels.

He is the past-president of the Duquesne School of Law Alumni Association, and he has also served on the Past Presidents’ Advisory Board at the Duquesne University School of Law. At present, he is a member of the President’s Advisory Board at his alma mater, St. Francis University.

He is the proud father of attorney Elizabeth Goodrich, a law clerk with the Honorable Justice Daniel McCaffery of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Patrick O'Brien

Patrick O’Brien is a 25-year member on the Pittsburgh St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee. He served as a Past Chairman and is currently the Parade Coordinator.

A Member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) for over 28 years, he is the President of AOH Division 4 in The North Hills. Patrick has served on the AOH Allegheny County Board and is a Past-President of The Pennsylvania AOH State Board.

He is a lifelong resident of The North Hills. He’s been married to his wife Lynne for 44 years. He’s a proud father of four with six grandchildren.

Elaine Walsh Dattilo

Elaine Walsh Dattilo serves as Secretary of the Irish Society. She is also Treasurer of the Pittsburgh St. Patrick’s Day Parade, bringing decades of leadership and dedication to Pittsburgh’s Irish-American community.

A proud member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians (LAOH) for over 30 years, Elaine previously served as Treasurer of LAOH Division 11, The Oakland Irish.

During that same time, she has served in the healthcare profession in her role as an Operating Room Nurse and Surgical Technician at Allegheny General Hospital. Elaine is honored to support the Irish Society’s mission of preserving Irish heritage while promoting education, service, and community outreach.

Board Members

Kevin Conboy

Kevin Conboy has served on the Irish Society for Education and Charity for six years. He has been the Chairman of the Pittsburgh St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee for the past two years. He has been on the committee for over 20 years. He was named AOH Hibernian of the year in 2018. Having been a member of the AOH Division 9 since 1999, he has also served as vice president of the division for 21 years. One of the group’s biggest accomplishments has been the renovation of the historic landmark, Old Saint Patrick’s Church in the Strip District.

He is currently president of Conboy Specialty Company, where he has worked for more than 40 years. The family business, which is a promotional company that sells to large companies and universities, has been in operation since 1948.

Kevin takes pride in the fact that he has marched in every St. Patrick’s Day parade over the last 63 years without missing one. He resides in Whitehall with his wife, Coleen and has a son named Casey.

Lauren Connelly

Lauren Connelly currently serves as Director of Allegheny County Economic Development (ACED). She previously held leadership roles within Allegheny County government and at the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce, focusing on regional policy, advocacy, and downtown revitalization.

She began her public service career in the mayor’s office for the City of Pittsburgh and later spent more than a decade in nonprofit leadership with Lawrenceville-based community development organizations, where she led strategic planning, fundraising, and corridor revitalization initiatives.

Lauren is an active member of the Pittsburgh Irish community as a member of Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 23 and the Pittsburgh St. Patrick’s Day Parade Miss Smiling Irish Eyes Committee.

She graduated from Allegheny College and resides in the City of Pittsburgh with her family.
